About this event
Hrs CE: 6
Class Description:
This course will invite you to look at the ways your practice could transform and align to serve the collective. This course will focus on strategies and modalities that offer liberation within body, community and culture. Our bodies hold trauma rooted in oppression. “Collective trauma is transformed collectively”, in the words of Cara Page. In order to transform collectively, we must follow the lead of those most impacted by oppression. This course will invite us to remember the resiliency strategies of our lineages, community and somatic techniques to support ourselves and eachother. We will explore the history of Healing Justice, as a compass to inform our future and our present role as practitioners within the larger framework of the movement for collective liberation. This course provides 4 hours Ethics and 2 hours Health Equity.
