- ➤ The Olympia School District held its annual communications audit on Jan. 7 by launching an 83-member communications group and upgrading ParentSquare with secure forms and streamlined document management; the district says the new system will launch in summer to boost transparency and link communications to student outcomes. - ➤ The Olympia School District Board proclaimed February as Olympia Reads Month to promote reading across the community. Author Renée Watson will lead events Feb. 10–12 at local venues including the downtown Timberland Regional Library to spark literacy and conversation. JOLT
