- ➤ Kalyan Hospitality submitted a proposal to the Port of Olympia to develop a waterfront site on Marine Drive featuring a 120-room hotel, restaurant, rooftop bar, meeting space and public amenities. The plan, presented on Jan. 20, envisions construction starting in 2028 and opening in 2030 while creating up to 110 construction jobs and 75 permanent positions. JOLT
