- ➤ Olympia High School senior Kevin Shen placed seventh among 40 finalists in the nationwide Regeneron Science Talent Search and won a $70,000 award for his aerospace engineering study that helped cut fuel usage by 9.2% using 3D-printed parts—his achievement was celebrated at a March 11 ceremony.
