- ➤ North Thurston Public Schools will hold its Spring College and Career Fair on March 26th at North Thurston High School from noon to 3 p.m. — for ninth to 12th graders — and the event will present information on careers, volunteer work, apprenticeships, scholarships and post-secondary options — covering university, military, community and technical studies —. - ➤ The Evergreen State College launched a new mycology certification program that uses online classes and lab work to teach students how to grow truffles — a valued food and a tool for ecological restoration. The two-year course is designed to prepare graduates for jobs in agriculture, research and eco-tourism. ThurstonTalk

- ➤ After her shoplifting arrest in Olympia, Alana received support from Community Court, which connected her with housing, treatment, and life skills courses—helping her break the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and past trauma. JOLT

- ➤ Olympia Therapy is helping families cope with rising stress and anxiety in children and adults as lingering COVID effects and current events increase depression.
