The Olympia School District launched the 2026-27 Budget Priorities Survey, open until 11:59 p.m. Friday, April 3, to gather input on programs; listening sessions will be held at Washington Middle School Library on April 14 and Jefferson Middle School Library on April 16 + board visits secondary schools.

The Olympia City Council approved the Rebecca Howard Park development plan at its meeting on Tuesday, March 24, moving the park ahead in the city’s queue and delaying the Lily Road project, while staff will pursue grants (including a potential $500,000 state opportunity) as planning begins.
