- ➤ A male motorist was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after his vehicle hit two cars in the Olive Garden parking lot at Capital Mall on Thursday, March 27 — police said he suffered lacerations when he fell from the vehicle. JOLT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

- ➤ A Washington Senate committee advanced a bill that sets stricter emissions standards for transportation fuels, though critics worry it may cost more for gas—sparking a debate between cleaner air and higher fuel prices. - ➤ The Port of Olympia Citizens Advisory Committee is checking plans to bring back a passenger-only ferry service in Olympia as part of its 2025 work plan.
