GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On April 1st, Governor Bob Ferguson said he would not sign the budget plan because it relies on a wealth tax he called too risky, noting the courts could rule against it (he stressed the need for a more solid revenue plan). He urged lawmakers to revise their proposals and protect reserve funds as they work to complete the budget by April 27th (lawmakers must act soon to avoid further fiscal problems). FOX13
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Boggs Inspection Services will donate $5 for each inspection in April (supporting the Washington Autism Alliance’s work to honor autistic women and girls) as part of its annual fundraiser. The donation effort will help the alliance raise funds to improve care and awareness for people on the autism spectrum. ThurstonTalk
