The City of Olympia launched an application for its 2026 Traffic Box Wrap project and invites local artists to submit one design by 11:45 p.m. on April 29.

The top 10 designs will be reviewed, voted on, and installed later this summer or fall — awarding artists a $500 honorarium.

Regular unleaded gas in Olympia moved closer to an all-time high as the average price reached $5.434 per gallon on Friday, April 3 + the rate remains 14 cents below the record of $5.571 set in June 2022 amid global supply concerns.
