- ➤ The FBI released video of a suspect in the Tesla charging station arson in Lacey on April 11 at 3:58 p.m. (he is a white man in a dark jacket and gray pants who walked with a limp and may have suffered burns) and local authorities urged residents near South Sound Center to review their security footage. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Energize Thurston is offering free workshops to help residents cut energy bills by using energy-saving heat pump technology and water heaters that are more efficient. Residents can join one workshop on April 22 in Lacey, May 6 in Tenino, or May 27 in Olympia—attend a session to qualify for up to $5,000 off and for free installations for low- and moderate-income households before applications close on May 31. - ➤ Olympia City Council proclaimed April as Fair Housing Month to highlight the need to address housing discrimination—Council member Clark Gilman read the proclamation on April 8.
