FBI agents arrested 27-year-old Damien Madison near the California state line after he shot more than a dozen rounds from a stolen AR-15 at a deputy during a high-speed chase — his 20-year-old fiancé Americus Lee Wilson has been detained and Madison faces an extradition hearing today.

The City of Olympia warned on May 13 that its sanctuary city status might risk up to $11.9M in public works funding, including $9.5M for the Fones Road project and key emergency medical services.
