Saint Martin’s University associate professor Andrea Kunder received a National Science Foundation grant to study how groups of stars break apart — she is working with teachers from Seattle University, Western Washington University, and the College of Idaho, and her team will produce four to six science papers featuring work from promising students.

At its May 19 meeting, Olympia’s Finance Committee approved a $20 million bond sale to fund Hands On Children's Museum’s expansion to ease crowding and boost programs.
