- ➤ The Port of Olympia will host a series of summer events that include live music, outdoor movies and community tours along the waterfront. Concerts are scheduled for June 20, June 27 and July 11, with family film nights planned for August 30 and September 6 — free tours of the marine terminal will be available on the first Tuesday of each month from June through September. - ➤ This weekend, community events offer local art, sustainability workshops and veteran support across the region — a free business fundamentals workshop runs in Olympia from today until June 1. On May 31, Veterans Resource Fair will be held at Tacoma Dome while Lacey hosts a stormwater workshop and conservation celebration and art fests like Olympia Zine Fest and Tumwater Elevate Fair take place. - ➤ Olympia Police arrested Manuel Villavicencio early May 17 after responding to reports of a disturbance near downtown—where a woman sustained facial injuries and was treated by medics—and he was booked for second-degree assault and obstructing law enforcement. JOLT
