🎭 Culture
Ira Wesley Kitmacher will reinitiate the Olympia History and Haunted Walking Tours starting June 5.
The outdoor tour covers 10 city blocks in historic downtown and runs on most Fridays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. until mid-October, meeting at Percival Landing.
🏛️ Government
The Port Commission approved a $11.25 million federal grant application to fund a new warehouse to store cargo and dredging to clear 24,000 cubic yards of sediment—vote was 3-2.
The port will cover the remaining costs to improve the marine terminal.
