🎓 Education
South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) will soon graduate its first cohort from the new four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program on June 13 at a commencement ceremony.
The program, launched in 2024, lets students earn their degree without transferring and is now open for fall applications.
🏛️ Government
Seattle officials announced temporary (no-fly) zones ahead of the World Cup to cover match sites and fan celebrations, including events at Olympia-Lacey Fan Zone at Percival Landing from June 19 onward.
The move follows a federal grant to help detect and deter drones near match venues.
