- ➤ The Transportation Policy Board tabled a proposal to remove the Log Cabin Road extension from the long-range transportation plan during a meeting on June 11, as regional leaders requested more time for city councils to confer and complete a traffic study. Officials said the study, set around 2030, will examine impacts—especially on Yelm Highway—and the board will revisit the decision in July. JOLT
