  • Tysha Tolefree, vice president for Finance and Operations at South Puget Sound Community College, was selected for the Aspen Institute’s Rising Presidents Fellowship as one of 40 leaders chosen from over 1,200 applicants to build data-informed strategies for student success. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Today, the Olympia City Council reaffirmed its Sanctuary City commitment amid concerns that ICE agents have detained residents and allegedly deported some without due process. City officials said they will not share information with ICE and are working with state congressional leaders to hold the agency accountable — urging residents to know and exercise their rights.  JOLT
