A proposed mountain biking park at Marj Yung Park, located at 2549 Black Lake Blvd. SW, moved closer to construction after Hearing Examiner Mark Scheibmeir approved a conditional use permit on July 9.
The project includes 3.5 miles of new trails, a parking lot, & tree protection measures.
🏛️ Government
Bigelow Park playground (1220 Bigelow Ave. NE) will close for surfacing work from Monday, July 13 until Wednesday, July 15.
Road and sidewalk closures will also affect Olympia Armory later this month, and Sunrise Park restroom is temporarily closed for repairs after vandalism.
