- ➤ On Friday, July 11, the Thurston Regional Planning Council unanimously approved the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan without the Log Cabin Road connection and directed a review of alternatives for LBA Park connectivity—Olympia Council member Dani Madrone said the study will examine options like a multi-use path through the park. The decision is expected to free up about $10 million for other transportation priorities while shifting traffic to nearby roads like Yelm Highway. JOLT
