Capital Lakefair returned to Heritage Park on July 15 where visitors enjoyed carnival rides, food vendors + live music as part of the annual celebration.

The fair will run until July 19 and include a car show, grand parade and fireworks over Capital Lake.

Columnist David Scherer Water explains his approach to writing about Olympia by blending factual details with creative language (including local hints from Lacey, Tumwater, and Thurston County).
