Kelp Krawlers is an Olympia scuba diving club that started in the 1980s and meets every month except December for social events, talks, and dive planning while offering benefits like spare gear and an antique bottle collection—members of all ages join to explore various dive spots such as Hood Canal, Olympia, and Tacoma and help keep Puget Sound clean.

SPSCC in Olympia was named best community college in ShowCase Magazine’s Best of 2025 series for the second year in a row, and the award recognizes its small classes and programs that help more than 5,000 students prepare for work.

Penrose Physical Therapy will hold a free workshop on Sept 4th at 6pm at its Lacey clinic at 1445 Galaxy Dr NE to help people learn treatment options for nerve pain with methods like pulsed radiofrequency and red light therapy.
