🌲 Environment
The committee approved a $320,000 plan for 2027-28 adaptation strategies including financing evaluation, peak flow modeling and long-term monitoring.
The plan, based on the Sea Level Rise Response Plan, will split costs among the City, LOTT and Port of Olympia (50%, 25% and 25%).
🏛️ Government
Intercity Transit rear door bus pad work in downtown is extended until Sept.
18 with the bus stop moved 105 feet west near the US Bank building (impacts occur at 4th Avenue and Washington Street) and drivers are advised to allow extra travel time.
