- ➤ The City of Olympia issued a request for proposals to hire a consultant to evaluate the PBIA funding program — assessing its governance, financial framework and administrative practices. Proposals are due Sept 26 by 5 p.m., with finalist interviews on Oct 6 and the project set to begin Oct 19 and run through Jan 30. JOLT
- ➤ Utility installation work on Cooper Point Road as part of the Chick-fil-A project began on Sept. 22 and will continue until Sept. 26. The project will affect northbound lanes today and in coming days—travelers are advised to use alternate routes. JOLT
