- ➤ The City of Olympia & Squaxin Island Tribe will host an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Squaxin Park on Oct. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with cultural presentations, speakers, educational activities and food available for families, while organizers advise that parking is limited and a complimentary shuttle will run from the Olympia Farmers Market District parking lot at 700 Capitol Way N every 30 minutes starting at 11 a.m. JOLT
