Olympia’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee will review 39 funding proposals totaling nearly $1.8 million today in Room 212 at City Hall—this meeting will guide the city council’s recommendations for 2026 tourism projects.
The finance department projects new revenue of $625,000 with $234,000 already reserved for earlier approved projects.
Today, the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee in Olympia will review naming recommendations for three park properties—Olympia Armory, Yelm Highway Community Park and Kaiser Woods Park—at its meeting.
The proposals follow over a year of public input and prior decisions by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee to honor local contributions and features.
