A civilized remedy for procrastination

Come as you are. Work on what matters to you, and leave feeling like you moved the needle.

We meet on the first and third Thursdays at The Owl’s Nest for a body doubling sesh, i.e. working quietly near other humans who are working too.

Join us for a (sort of) fortnightly work sesh à la Pomodoro.

Bring your:

• writing

• business tasks

• artwork

• life admin

• plans and schemes

• unfinished endeavors

• or whatever you’re working on these days

How it works We keep it simple with a Pomodoro-ish vibe. We’ll start with a quick check-in: share your name and what you’re working on. And if what you’re working on is figuring out what to work on, that counts too.

We decide how long we want to work (usually 20-30 min.) and set a timer.

When the timer goes off, we share how it went and what we’re going to work on during the next chunk of time. You’re welcome to request feedback when you share. If you have feedback for someone, simply ask whether they’d like feedback before offering it. All sharing is optional.

Rinse and repeat for as many rounds as we want within our 90-minute window.

Drop in for the whole thing or just pop by when you can. We always leave space at the beginning and end to ease in and wrap up without rushing.

The goal is progress, momentum, and a little friendly accountability along the way.
