- ➤ Marcus Williams, who became homeless about a year ago after parking his van near Percival Landing, said he kept the area clean and was told he could stay until his van was towed on Feb. 3, taking his belongings and cat. He has repeatedly asked City Hall for help to recover his van but received no support — he now heads to the Olympia Union Gospel Mission — feeling overlooked by officials. JOLT

- ➤ Two suspect military members linked to Nazi white nationalist groups were arrested on Monday after FBI SWAT agents raided a Lacey address and seized over 35 military weapons including grenade launchers, explosives, and body armor—both are held on multiple firearm-related charges with $500,000 bail and may face further federal charges. - ➤ Thurston County detectives are asking the public for any tips on five cold cases—one involving Michelle Dickerman’s 2001 disappearance near Fred Meyer in Lacey, Jennifer Vawter Patterson’s 2013 remains on the Nisqually Reservation, Karen Bodine’s 2007 body found near Rochester, Logan Schiendelman’s 2016 disappearance near Tumwater, and Dana Presley’s 2021 homicide in Olympia—and request that anyone with information contact the Cold Case Unit.
