Today the Port of Olympia announced plans to partner with the Hands On Children’s Museum to expand its interactive exhibits downtown—an effort that is expected to boost tourism and offer more space for the museum’s 300,000 annual visitors—while strengthening its role as a community hub.

Olympia nonprofit Puget Sound Estuarium is seeking new board members to serve three-year terms—applications are accepted on a rolling basis and candidates must send a resume and cover letter to board member Andrea Parish.

On June 4, the Olympia Site Plan Review Committee met to review plans for a new 20,000-square-foot crisis stabilization clinic at 509 McPhee Road SW.
