- ➤ A 30-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly shoplifted $875.48 of merchandise from Macy’s at Capital Mall on August 17—store staff said she briefly resisted capture and gave a false name that led to theft and identity charges. JOLT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Homeless Services Advisory Board recommended $51,562.69 in emergency funds to repair the fire-damaged unit at Sandy’s Flats after a resident's fire in July left one unit uninhabitable. The funding will be reviewed today at the Thurston County Regional Housing Council meeting—if approved, the money will come from the annual emergency set-aside. JOLT
